the first thing a woman does to a man is decieve him the moment she meets him. the first thing she does is hair and make up to make a man think she looks better than she realy does. then she asks later does she look fat and she knows shes does but wants a lie to make her feel better. honest? i think not. women quit trying to control your man with deception, i hate lies

We don't need a man. That doesn't mean that we don't want one. Divorce is usually accompanied by that thing called anger. Not to mention all the other emotions that come along with a divorce. We all know that also prompts people to be jealous and wanting the other to suffer. As for being the hardest working... I'm an operator at a small oil facility. It's almost like Homer Simpson's job where all he has to do is press a few buttons. I know I don't work harder than other coworkers. My other coworkers are at the other plant. It's bigger. There is more to do. It's not rocket science. Without the women's movement, would I be able to work in a male dominant field? Never mind all the other things it has done. (I pick the career thing because that lets me pay my bills and my mortgage.... without a man.) I don't need a man. But I like my boyfriend enough to keep him around lol.

You sound pretty angry. What you have to understand is that what women want is diplomatic honesty. Guys have a tendency to be brutally honest with each other, which doesn't work with women because we are very insecure. Women tend to soften their words.
I do understand feeling frustrated when a woman asks if she is fat and clearly doesn't want to hear the truth. You could tell her that you don't answer questions like that and that she is the only person who knows what size she wants to be, but then she'll think she is fat and she will be lousy in bed. Women have to feel beautiful and sexy to be good lovers, so if you don't quickly tell her that she looks fine to you, you will pretty much destroy your sex life with her.
With respect to hair and makeup being signs of dishonesty, you can always go out with a woman who is much more natural. Most guys aren't really attracted to women like that, so women have learned to fix themselves up. However, if you want a more natural woman, I would suggest dating someone from a hiking, backpacking or cycling club or a woman who is more the outdoors/athletic type. They don't usually spend an hour in front of the mirror every morning.
I can completely understand your frustrations, and even though I am a woman, I am often fed up with other women. You just have to seek out a woman who isn't too much of a girly-girl type, and I think you'll be happier.

Okay you must have watched that Chris Rock standup.
No but really, if you saw a woman walking on the street with no makeup, her hair a mess, and the same clothes she wore to sleep in last night you would never give her the time of day. Speaking for myself I love getting all dolled up for my man, wearing makeup and sexy heels and doing my hair.
But, when I ask my husband "do I look fat in this?" and he says yes, I dont' get hurt....I burn it!! and then get on the treadmill.....I appreciate honesty, and also acknowledge there is no such thing as a 100% honest person. We all lie from time to time....if we didn't we wouldn't be human...

so are men not deceiving as well? men lie too, usually about money, past relationships, and their size. you must want a women to roll out of bed in pj's and coming knocking on your door with morning breath and bed head, so you can see the true person.

good question but it can be said of some men and women but not all. i dont think that all women use makeup to conceal a lie, but it makes them feel better or more confident about themselves.

because they're selfish. they don't want to get hurt in a relationship, but think that they can get away with the same stuff that they don't want you to do. i used to be this way, and then i realized how much it was getting to my boyfriend and have changed since then.

well it's really not the way you are thinking coz women dress up good coz they want there man to like it and feel good about it not all men think like you ..would you like your chick to look bad..and so what if you praise her for good looks whats bad with it Hun??and please not all chicks like false praise you are thinking wrong..and a gal wants honest relationship coz if she puts her best into it she expects allot from her man and it's nothing wrong according to me..and no chick falls for false praise unless they really trust what their guys say
