I have a miniature dachshund that use to do the same thing but after getting stepped on enough times she learned. She never really got hurt even though she screamed as though she did. It was rather annoying so what we did is we acted like we were going to step on her (and did some of the time) and eventually she got it and got out of the way. If your dog gets stepped on enough your dog will learn on her own.

Honestly, who is the Alpha you or the dog? What I did with mine was just keep walking. If you move around for the dog the dog does not learn but if you step on the dog or nudge it out of the way, they dog learns to pay attention and get out of your way. Stop letting your dog be king, you are the king and he has to watch out for you. Email if you have any training issues.

Concrete is a great digging stopper.... desires to be approximately 2 inches thick. you additionally can bury cord , like 2 x 4 horse non climb..under the airborne dirt and dust approximately 3 inches... so as quickly as they dig down so some distance, the cord stops them..merely conceal it back with airborne dirt and dust and it will look everyday. have it around 2 feet out out of your fence..that 24 inch strip could desire to baffle the diggers. Your community sounds risky. And depressing. in case you are able to arise with the money for to... you ought to evaluate shifting. I had the comparable form of subject with unfastened pit bulls that killed my ducks, chased my goats, charged at me as quickly as I went after my mail, and tried to get at my Chihuahuas.... and that i went out after them with a shotgun. I grew to develop into everyday because of the fact the loopy gun woman...and had few problems with my friends... I often called Animal administration quite a few situations stressful the canines be picked up. They finally have been. this does not consistently paintings for a youthful guy, besides because it might for a loopy old woman who has no longer something to lose, and could shoot. So i do no longer propose it for others.

There really is no way to keep a dog from out under your feet unless you lock it up when you have guests over.

With our chihuahuas, as puppies, we let them get underfoot, and just kept on walking...once they got plowed over (softly) a few times they learned feet=move. We have no problems with it now.
This works if they're in your spot on the couch butt=move or get sat on!
