Since we as Christians claim the Bible is true, and atheist don't think so, I thought I would point out some things and then see what you think. Although I cannot list every possible thing in the Bible, I can say this. As a Christian who believes in the Bible, I should also expect that History should unfold and develop the way the Bible says right?
Fact: In 1948 Israel became a nation again
The Bible said it would: Jeremiah 30:3 For, lo, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the LORD: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.
Fact: Europe is being revived
The Bible says: an end-time global government will arise and break the world into ten regions described as the "Revived Roman Empire."
(Rev. 13:1-2 & 17:12-13)
Fact: Globalism
The Bible tells us that a One World Government will be set up. It's already happening!
So, now what?

With all these things happening before you, why do you question the scriptures? There are 100 of things happening that the Bible said would happen. Are you attempting to purposley stay blind to the truth? If scientific hypothesis is first having a question about something and then testing out the theory. Than I challenge you to test out the Bible. How could something written so long ago be so acurate unless it was inspired by God? You cannot say there is no accuracy here. You cannot look at History and deny these things. To deny the Bible is to deny history.

To add to your first one.... Jerusalem became the capital of Israel in 1967, its rightful ownership.
The Roman Empire reformed in 1992 (I believe), so that one has come to fullfillment
One World Government/Religion/Currency is in the making thanks to GHW Bush who introduced this during his time as President of the United States of America. Bill Clinton and GW Bush both have signed off on this as well.
Many things are coming true to life from scripture, yet you still have many blinded.... just look at some of the replies to your tread here.
They will still be blinded when the catching of the bride comes.
Pray for their souls.

The thing about human creativity is that if it really wants to hold onto an idea or justify something it can create stories to do so no matter how improbable it may seem. I've seen apologetics on some stuff that just made my jaw drop in how far fetched, unreasonable, and convoluted it gets to reason away things and continue to believe what you want. It doesn't seem much different to me then my friend who is in an abusive relationship with someone who has cheated on her repeatedly. She will every time find some reason why it happened that allows her to believe he loves her and it won't happen again. Religious people are gaining perceived psychological benefits from their beliefs. Comfort against death, group identity, a father figure that is all powerful and loves unconditionally, etc.... Some are just too strongly motivated to let go of that if they were raised or convinced the benefits are attached to literal belief in the Bible.

Great Job for point those things out to everyone however, Please don't change the Bible around. God said in the Bible those adds to or takes from this book he or she will be punished.
Now those says that the Bible is just a book and was man made doesn't actually know the Lord.
Those that pressures the King James only movement are that Good Christians.

Well your first one could have been self fulfilling. Israel was created BECAUSE people thought they were entitled to it.
The second, the Renaissance is a much better example of Europe being revived, but you could make it after either World War. So big whoop, it runs in cycles like everything else.
We are about as close to a single government as a rock is to becoming a cloud. Get real.

You seem to be misinterpreting things a lot...
Jeremiah 30 is NOT a reference to modern Israel, but to the restoration portrayed in Nehemiah. The new covenant is alluded to in Jer 31 with the phrase "In those days..." (v.29) indicating that it would come in the time after Israel returned from the captivity Jeremiah discusses.
Revelation begins and ends with descriptions of things which must happen "quickly." (1:1 and 22:6) The Greek phrase here "en tachei" is ALWAYS near term time, with a range possible from immediate to at most several weeks. The same phrase is in Acts 12:7 "Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared. A light shone in the prison cell. The angel struck Peter on his side. Peter woke up. “Quick!” the angel said. “Get up!” The chains fell off Peter’s wrists." where it is translated, “Quick!” Did Peter need to wait several years for the proper time to come? Did John's readers need to wait several centuries for it? NO. The events described in Revelation were completed long ago.
Revelation mentions 3.5 years several times and this is the most likely guess for the time of its fulfillment. It is NOT talking about events which are yet in the future and it is an extreme disservice to its text to force such an interpretation on it. (It was written to relieve the fears of those who were suffering persecution RIGHT THEN. What good would it do to tell them that things will get better in a few thousand years?
TAKE SCRIPTURES IN THEIR OWN CONTEXT. DON'T TWIST THEM TO FIT THINGS WHICH WERE NEVER INTENDED.

The Bible is a book. It does not prove that God exists, or that Jesus was the son of God, or that Jesus was resurrected, or that Jesus performed miracles, or that Moses parted the Red Sea, or any of the other things the Bible claims to be true.
Maybe it is historically accurate in places, but that makes it historical fiction at best. The books of Edward Rutherford and James Michener contain historically accurate information, but they are still fiction.
Try reading something else. I saw Einstein's Theory of Relativity and Origin of Species in the bookstore today. I picked up "The Varieties of Scientific Experience: A Personal View of the Search for God" (Carl Sagan). Expand your mind. Please.

I do not see any great prophecy in the examples you mention. The area that is now Israel has been taken, re-taken, and re-taken again for several thousands of years by various peoples. No great stretch to figure it will be taken again. Europe is being revived. Again it been revived many many times. If it is indeed even being revised now hat makes this one any different? And a one world government.? Will never completely happen, to many differences.

I don't believe that you can take a literal approach to proving a spiritual work. That is what makes it a spiritual work. For non-Christians, it is just a book that can be proved or disproved depending on how it is manipulated (much as you have done above). For Christians, however, it is a true book that NEEDS NO PROOF because of the divine nature of the text.

I am making a prediction: People will make a new invention in the future.
Now, if this comes true tomorrow, the next day, next week, or next year, will you come and follow me and my teaching and listen to my word?
Note that just as in the scripture you quoted I did not give an exact date, so my prediction should carry the same weight as your bible verse, No?
I guess now you can see that ANYBODY can make predictions about the future, so whats so great about that?

Yes Yes Yes and you only touch on some of the things proved true. So many prophecies. take another book to write them all. Plus seeing all the things that God does, from the miracles, to all the beauty He created for us all to enjoy. I hve recently had muslims tell me that the believe their messiah is already here, and ready to take over. Course, we know that cant happen till the rapature. But, he isnt messiah, he is antichrist. It is right around the corner, and this is why the devil pours on even more lies and destruction and plain old evil. But, God is pouring more out of His HOly SPirit power to His true ppl, those that love Him enough to obey, and this is to get us thru these days til Jesus comes to rapture us home. Keep telling it like it is. God will bless you.
