It's most likely a canker sore which is a small ulcer. A cold sore is herpes and I am almost 99 percent sure that herpes or cold sore or fever blisters usually develops outside your mouth. They are found on the outer edge of your mouth. So unlike those, canker sores grow inside your mouth and the cause is unknown. They say maybe stress, or allergies, or some kind of self inflicted wound or they may be caused by your cycle if your a girl. Also it is not contagious like a cold sore. It is usually white and hurts really badly. After it burst its usually like yellow or white. Use Oral Gel or Colgate has Orabase which is the same but has it in paste so it stay better where u put. This will ease the pain until it goes away on its on. If your still unsure go to the dentist to get an accurate diagnosis or the doc.

If you're thinking cancer, don't worry. Usually oral cancers are discolored, like little black or greyish dots. Biting your cheek or even suck your cheek against your teeth when drinking out of a straw can cause small bumps to form. It's sort of like a callous, both form from repeated activities. If it's an ulcer it would be uncomfortable and slightly red around the clear part. But, if it is an ulcer, try not to mess with it and it will go away after a couple days.

could be a canker sore or just a sore.
if its a canker sore which is a virus, it could be treatable with canker sore medicine at a drugstore. you just put the medicine in your mouth and the sore is gone before too long.
if its just a sore you might want to give it time to heal.
if this thing on your mouth really worries you go see a doctor.

It sounds like a normal canker. They can take a long time to heal. Brush your teeth regularly and use mouthwash. To ease the pain put some anbesol on it. It will numb it good.
