Because the image of God that we all share is a spiritual one, not a biological one. God has no body, no physical structure. He is pure spirit. Therefore being created "in His image and likeness" obviously has nothing to do with our biological nature, but only with our spiritual nature.

2. i am not agreed with national geographic that humans bone sturcture is impractial, if it be so, then humans never dominated the planet. suppose for a sec that we would be like elephants, then can we build structures, can we started journey from caves to small cities? no friend it would not be possible, even with bone structure/shape like elephants we not able to even made primative spears to prey other animals. or if we looks like tiger fastest runner, can we do any achievments?
