Men and women cheat. It's not as cut and dry as you would think in most cases. Much of the time it's an emotional need not being satisfied or fed for some reason. The "cheater" may not even be able to feel the emotional need not being fed, but reaches out to fill it just the same. Since most emotional needs have to do with the opposite sex, that's where the would be cheater becomes vulnerable. Of course sometimes the issue of course comes from with in, e.g. self esteem, confidence, and so forth, relationships still add into that. Most affairs are not "just for sex". Most are filling a hard to identify void. Pretty had to swallow I know, but life isn't so simple as to really believe that all cheaters cheat just to get off.

It can be a variety of things. Not wanting to be tied down for instance. But one thing that ALL guys have in common is biology. Men are "designed" to spread their seed to ensure the survival of his blood line. This is why a male can produce over 300 million sperm a day whereas a woman only produces 1 egg a month. For this reason a woman looks for everything when looking for the perfect man, whereas a man is looking for only one thing from a woman (sex). This is our biology, I am not condoning cheating at all. What cheating is, is acting on the biological urge to be with many women and is a sign of little or no self-control or maturity. The same thing goes for a woman who cheats, although she is doing it for other reasons (likes to be the center of a man's attention, intimacy, or other reason).
Look for someone who doesn't cheat...they are mature enough to be in a relationship with you.

Mostly because they like living "dangerously". If they've been with one woman for an extended period of time, the need to keep the girl interested can disappear. Another common contributing factor is problems in the relationship. Another big one is when the man feels smothered - if he doesn't have his freedom. It's not true for all men - many are loyal partners, and would never consider cheating. Keeping the relationship interesting, and allowing him his space (and all of this is true to keep women faithful) should prevent the thought from even crossing his mind.

well because they lose intrest in you and they want some one new if they are cheating on you its that they found someone new and they want them more then you but thats wrong there was only one how ever cheated on me and they want me back but im in love with a solider that is a great man and loves me to death and he has never cheated on me what would i do if he ever did i love this man but if some one did that to you you leave the second you hear of it thats not a good thing to do and you shouldnt be treated like that you diserve better than that so ya there is my answer to you

for the same reason girls cheat - they are not satisfied in the relationship they are in , and want to hurt that person or get a quick fix by being with someone else , even if its wrong .

And the answer is --Because they have not made a commitment to be true--from lack of respect or love --or that they think that they can have their cake and eat it too---Either way is wrong and hurtful ---And I am sorry if you have been hurt by someone who has wronged you --

Because they aren't getting enough of whatever they want from the new chick.... for most guys, it is not 'emotional' it is most definitely 'physical' needs that we have.
This is not an excuse, and not all guys feel this way.
But whether it is a culturally expected thing or is actually a part of our genetic makeup.... "we gotta have it".....
