Please give the sex and age of the dog, and whether it is from field or show bloodlines (if you know).
My 9 month old English male (show lines) weighs 80 pounds.

Our black lab Walter weighs 118 lbs. He'll be four soon, but he was a big puppy too. He's from field bloodlines.
(surprisingly, the vet says he's just right for how big etc. he is.)

Female, will be 3 years old on March 14, 2007 and she weighs just about 60lbs.
She comes from a Black Lab and a German Shorthaired Pointer who's owners weren't responsible enough to spay or neuter. We got her for free and don't care about her bloodlines. We couldn't love her any more then we already do.

My black lab (male) is 7 months old and weighs a good 70 lbs! Im not sure if it has anything to do with his bloodline (which is good!)

Mine is a service dog and he weighs....Oh God, I cant believe I am telling this.......112 lbs. He needs to be a little over weight because he helps support me if I get weak. But, the vet wants him to at least lose the 12 lbs. He is eight yrs. old I don't know his history. The Lupus Foundation donated him.

I had several male Labs over the years, since they were all rescues, I don't know anything about their background. They went, on average, from about 60 lbs up to 100 lbs.

Mine is a female she is a year old and weighs 50 lbs. She was the runt of the litter and is still pretty small.

your dog sounds right,,, at nine months he is done growing... i have show line goldens and 6 year old male is 74lbs - labs are prone to gain weight easily especially if spayed / neutered.. make sure he gets lots of exercise and retrieving games.

my mom has a black lab and he is 13 months and he weighs 110lbs. hes the biggest of the litter.
