The simplest sauce - HMV (Honey, Mustard, Vinegar)

1 part honey
1 part yellow mustard
1 part cider vinegar

Combine all in a container with a tight sealing lid. Shake until combined. Great on pork and chicken.

The easiest method is to take your favorite brand of regular BBQ sauce and add honey to it until it is as sweet as you would like it.
I do this all the time.
