I'm getting married in May 2008, my colours are brown and pink. Does anyone have suggestions for flower arrangements/bouquets?? I'm usually pretty artistic but when it comes to this I am at a loss. I wan't something simple, even if its white and pink (pink is only a accent). Suggestions for websites, flower types or photos would be greatly appreciated along with any personal experiences...

What about some orchids they come in all colors. Or simple cream flowers that will pop off of the dresses. Maybe for your bouquet do cream or white flowers wrapped in brown and pink ribbon or have brown feathers inserted in a bouquet with pink and white flowers. It could look really modern and really cool if it was done right. Maybe have the bottom of the bouquet wrapped in brown velvet ribbon.

go with weddingchannel.com for the variety that you are looking for. a suggestion that was made for my question was;
Here's some elements you can combine to make some fun centerpieces! Mix and Match! Get creative!

PINK:
-Gerbera daisies
-Roses
-Carnations
-Peonies
-Tulips
-Sweet Peas
-Cotton Candy
-Paper flowers
-Water dyed with red food coloring
-Candles
-Glass pebbles
-Ribbon

BROWN:
-Chocolate cosmos (flower)
-Fiddle head ferns
-Coffee beans
-Raw sugar crystals
-Glass pebbles
-Candles
-Stained wood
-Pine cones
-Ribbon

One of my favorite ideas is 9 small square vases set together to make a 3x3 square in the center of the table. 4 of the vases can include a pink candle and the remaining 5 can be filled with coffee beans and a single pink flower bud poking out (like it's planted in the beans). Frosted vases would be even better, with a polka-dotted or striped ribbon running around the center of each vase.

i dont mind sharing. i am having a gorgeous wedding 7/7/7 at 7pm and will be in silk chocoalte and pastel pinks but we are accenting it with ivory and cream colors.

good luck!!!

I am getting married in July of this year (07/07/07 actually!) and my colors are brown and pink too. I am doing daisies and having them dyed baby pink and chocolate. You can get them pretty much any color you want!

Most flowers that are white can be dyed. Roses, daisies, carnations..... Contact your local florist and ask them what can be done in those colors.

Good luck with everything and have a great wedding day!!

Your colors sound great. I suggest a tiger lilly - they can be bright orange or dark orange and almost brown. I think they would look great with a mix of small pink flowers around them.

I just went to the florist and said "My colors are brown and pink. My budget is $750. What can you do?"

I had to try this with three different flowers, but I love what I ended up with.

those look like they're synthetic plant life to me. I in actuality wish that you're literally not utilizing synthetic plant life for the boutinere or the bridal bouquet or bridesmaids' plant life, i have self assurance that doing so is tacky and without warm temperature. As for the shade, i don't believe of you fiance might want to experience effeminate or uncomfortable donning such colorings for his boutinere. inspite of the indisputable fact that, I do ask your self if the colors bypass nicely with what he plans on donning fro the marriage ceremony and/or reception. it truly is amazingly not likely that your fiance might want to allow you to do not ignore that he does not thoughts even as he easily does thoughts. i can't photo him doing this lower than any circumstances except to easily close you up so that you'll end nagging him about each of the marriage stuff in most cases.
