Sign of the times isn't it? A pity.

II Timothy 3:1-5,7 "But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of god; holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth."

Nobody should feel ashamed for any words or actions that are not their own. We can only take responsibility for our own behavior. Present yourself as you want to be seen, and assume that the questions and answers by others reflect the way they want the world to see them.

Here’s the reality. When we ask a serous question, few bother to answer. Ask a provocative question and it doesn’t matter if it’s been asked every single day, you know it will get a bunch of answers.

If only a few are interested in asking thoughtful questions or giving thoughtful answers, what do you expect the result to be?

OK...you got a point. I should tone it down. But when I ask who here likes apples and someone answers with an essay on how oranges are grown instead of telling me if they like apples, I get annoyed. It's the style of argument of Christians in general that is annoying to me. Most seem to be unable to logically and completely answer a question, or to consider all the points raised.

each guy that has to stay in a society that feminism has tainted is harm by technique of it. men have been demonized by technique of feminism for forty years. do somewhat study. If there have been men's study courses in colleges the place anti-lady extremists have been required analyzing, i think of you will possibly comprehend that may not be too "swell" for females. ...might purely "harm" them. If the academics in those courses taught with regards to the evil "patriarchy" the place females are keeping men down, that would purely make men somewhat envious & bitter & it might purely rigidity a wedge between the sexes. The opposite of that subject if discovered all around the country in our universities. it is purely one occasion. do somewhat study. Katie Couric on the immediately teach can ask a bride that were stood up on the alter if she'd "considered castration as an decision" ...for the absent groom. Did she lose her interest? If Matt Lauer had asked a guy if he'd considered the genital mutilation of his bride what do you think of might have occurred? Ask Don Imus... Or Larry Summers.

~~~maybe,,, I don't know to what you are referring but it is very obvious that you are way too sensitive to expose yourself to a Public Forum,,, especially one which probably has an MTV Demographic,,, Remember,,, In life, there will almost always be a jerk or two amongst us. This is where the Virtue of Patience applies,,, and Accept the Reality that Yahoo is not a sacred place, even for Atheists as myself .
You shouldn't feel ashamed for what others do. You should only be concerned about how you respond to the ignorance and situations. One thing I've learned in my 28 years on this earth you can't be responsible for others actions you can only handle the responsibility of your own.
The atheists complain that the fundies are insulting them, telling them they're going to hell, etc., yet the rabid atheists are every bit as bad, perhaps worse. Its hatemongering, no matter who's doing it. The best thing to do is just ignore or skip over the trolling insulters and try to find legitimate questions.
If you can't take it then why call yourself a man? It's better for this stuff to get hashed out on the Internet than in person. There are places where people grow up in civil war and genocide. You are being a puss complaining about manners and swear words.
Actually, I don't think lacking shame is the problem. The problem is there is too much pride. That is what causes people to feel so superior that they can trash others.
If you are looking for serious discussion on religion and spirituality, this is not the place. Never has been, never will be. This is the domain of people with boring jobs, obsessions, psychological disorders and many many other issues. If you want serious discussion I suggest you go to a seminary.
