maybe to god 7 "days" really meant 6.5 billion years...evolution is science's way of describing god's work. That still doesn't give any of you crazy creationist pukes any right to teach the crap in school...it is theology, not biology! Bad creationist! NO!!!

yes, I have. I studied the Bible and have come to believe that science does not have all the answers. Sometimes scientists realise what religion has had the answers to for years! What caused the Big Bang? What coincidence caused our planet to have a breathable atmosphere and drinkable water, what were the chances of this and why did we become so lucky to evolve, in such a short space of time? What is the point of looking for extra -terrestrial life, when the chances of intelligent life existing are billions to one anyway? Science does not have all the answers. There are more things in Heaven and Earth, there is a reason we came ot exist, it is not just lucky coincidence

Just the opposite, grew up Catholic, became an Evangelical, now I'm an atheist and believe that a 4.5 billion year old Earth and evolution explain it all.

which one suits you better? Does it really matter which one is which?

So earth could be 5 billion years old and species evolve,

so what? If God created the earth, do you really think he would forget about something like evolution?

Both theories are the same.

I grew up in the church, but I loved science from my first introduction to it.

I trust the scientific method, and the critical approach to biblical study.

There is nothing about the Creation stories told in the bible that hold a candle to the naturalistic understandings that have been discovered by biologists.

God created the heavens and the earth. How He did it is fun to study and speculate on. Did He use evolution to create it? Did He create the, so called, "big bang"? I don't know but to say that He did not is folly.

I began questioning creationism when I was 5 years old and never fully believed in it because no one I asked at the time had answers even for a 5 year old. It was always some circular logic.
