Exercising, diet, biotin, vitamins, alone are going to help very little. I'm afraid you will get answers giving totally ineffective treatments and some that are harmful to hair - so beware. This is a simple, NATURAL safe, low cost treatment that will definitely make hair grow faster and helped me. But first, because many ingredients in commercial shampoos and other products are harsh and damaging to hair and scalp, stop using them replace with a mild tea tree oil shampoo or selenium based neutral shampoo - acts as an anti-fungal agent (helps healing)with a few drops of tea tree oil added and wash less frequently (look up alternatives to washing) harms hair and scalp, causes thinning and premature graying. To restore scalp to health you need to frequently brush, 25 to 35 strokes each or every other day, quite vigorously, so you feel it stimulating scalp - will unplug any blocked ducts at hair shaft site, reverse any other damage, stimulate natural healing & reduce hair loss and breakage(we all have that) and force new well anchored and thicker hair growth. Massage scalp and hair with flaxseed oil or vitamin E oils before or after brushing, and wash off in the morning. Stimulates growth, gives hair a vibrant, healthy sheen. My hair had started to thin - this regime stopped that too and caused new hair to grow. My hair is better and fuller now than when I was a teenager. Entire body health, particularly digestive system matters. Avoid excessive intake of fats, dairy products, sugars, chocolate and peanuts. Consider a whole foods diet. Increase green leafy vegetables and raw foods. Vitamins are helpful. Biotin is a B vitamin, helps break down fats, carbohydrates, and proteins. Found naturally in many foods, including brewer's yeast, nutritional yeast, whole grains, nuts, Other helpful supplements -Vitamin B complex, especially vitamin B1 and B2 Vitamin A, Omega fatty acids, especially omega-6. Lastly, often overlooked, get plenty of sun - a natural source of vitamins will also revitalize hair and scalp. Go to my profile, see Best Answers chosen by Askers for hair conditions

When you go to bed, apply little coconut oil in your hair and massage it for 2 minutes. Leave it as such. Next morning take head bath without using any shampoo. Once in a week use a good shampoo+conditioner. If you do this regularly your hair will grow faster. This is my own experience.

Getting it TRIMMED about every 6 weeks. Also there is an awesome product called Mane n Tail that was originally made for horses (seriously) but is now a beauty secret that WORKS! And I don't work for the company or anything I promise.

a good way is to stimulate the hair follicles ( brushing or massage) Trimming you hair will not make it grow faster but keeping it trimmed every 6 weeks will keep the split ends from damaging the rest of your hair.

I read an article in a magazine that said taking Zinc tablets could help your hair grow and be more healthy, I tried it, have been doing so for about 2 months now and my hair has grown and is much healthier now.

you make it grow faster by keeping it healthy. don't iron it and clean it often, and get it trimmed every now and then. you could always just wear a hat.... or get hair extensions!
