turn into a thumb war? Every time I answer a question stating an OPINION everyone has to give it a thumbs down, especially when i say- I dont believe in god- and get 20 thumbs down. Why do people do this and why cant they get a life?

If your saying you don't believe in god...they may be giving you a thumbs down because they don't agree with you. They could also be telling you that Y!A is not the place to argue about God. That's just a couple of reasons I can think of.

Yeah maybe it's the way you say it. But don't take it so personall. A thumb just means someone agrees or disagrees with you, in this our cyberlife.

I think most people like the answers that they agree with. However, thanks for taking part in the discussions, regardless of whether it's a popular answer or not. If it comes from your heart, then it should only matter to you.
On the other hand, if you are answering just to pi*s off everyone, pat yourself on the back for succeeding (that's more than a lot of other people are doing)!
