I am very suspicious as to why the word "play" is in quote marks. With no further details, it's really very suspicious.
Yes, you can have fun taking care of little boys and playing games with them, playing with their toys and imagining all sorts of things like pirates and cowboys and astronauts. A really wonderful example of all this is "Finding Neverland" which is about James Barrie, the guy who wrote Peter Pan. Johnny Depp is great in the role.
But like Mr. Barrie, adults who enjoy playing with boys are, as I suppose you know, vulnerable to accusations of unnatural interests in them. It is hard for modern adults to remember that there was an innocent time when people never thought about someone doing anything to hurt the kids. Maybe that was not so good, because it let child molesters operate in secret. But the modern paranoia is crippling, too.
