I am not a heavy drinker but I had like a glass of red wine today and then bought 2 cans of Arizona Energy Drinks and gulped them down. I wanted to go to College and sell some books after that but on the way to the subway I felt so drunk I went back home and decided not to risk it. So is the mixture of energy drinks and red wine really makes u more drunk cause I dont think I can get drunk on one shot of wine only?

I don't drink much at all, and a small glass of wine will make me feel tipsy. I don't think the energy drink he an effect.

You shouldn't mix uppers and downers. You probably got trashed because you housed the wine faster then normal and If you had an empty stomach that'll make ya feel the effects quicker too. If you don't drink often it doesn't take to much alcohol to catch a nice buzz so I believe ya. Later

Yes, if you're not used to drinking alcohol, then your resistance to it is low, and it is possible that a person could get drunk on one shot. It's not about any mixture that gets you drunk, it's about the percentage and the total intake of the alcohol that gets you drunk.

nope, not a chance. alcohol is a depressant that slows down brain activity and the caffiene in the energy drinks is a mild stimulant that speeds up brain activity. it may have been the way the two drinks reacted to eachother.

i kinda doubt it. I mean if you only had that much wine, there wasnt enough alcohol to get you drunk. maybe it was just the way that the two drinks mixed in your stomach?

you probably had a mild panic attack from the energy drinks, combined with a slight buzz from the wine.

combined you were a little messed up for a while.
