What is the best way to approach a girl you recently started dating and have known for a long time about taking your relationship to a physical level.

She will let you know when she is ready.
But until then you can do certain things to get her ready, look her in the eyes and smile always as much as possible when you are with her. Be positive and upbeat.
Do what you sincerely feel and say what you honestly think and if she is meant to be the one, you will both know it is time to take it to the next level.

It's not really a hot topic of conversation. I'd be downright uncomfortable if a man wanted to "talk" about getting physical (other than asking for a kiss). You have to give her little nonverbal clues and see if she responds favorably. For example, start with the subtle touches like your hand on her back, shoulder, arm, or some other non-sexual area of her body. "Accidently" brush your knee against hers when you're sitting together or touch her hand across the table for emphasis when you're speaking. These little touches are seemingly innocent and are like early foreplay. Don't ever GRAB any part of her body until you know that she wants it. Work up to a kiss, and you can even ask, "may I kiss you?" or state "it's killing me, I just gotta kiss you" and see how she reacts. If she ~wants~ the kiss, she'll probably smile when you mention it and then let you kiss her. If she doesn't want it, she might kiss you anyhow (feeling obligated) but if you're attentive then you'll know if she has any desire for you when you kiss. Proceed from there and follow intuition, letting her lead. Don't force yourself on her, don't GRAB any part of her body, and by all means don't sing (or hum), "I wanna get physical... physical..."
