how hard is it to charge someone with this crime? my brothers ex girlfriend stole his mail we called the cops n she told them she didnt have it then turned it into them. she will not leave my brother alone so how can he press charges on her to let he know to leave us all alone?

Wow you have a lot going on. Going past the mail, you have theft (a federal crime when it's the mail) and a stalker. Seek a restraining order against her to keep her away from the property and her ex. At least this may prevent her from stealing his mail.

that would be a felony. You could file a restraining order against her and if she comes near call the police. Also set up a camera and try to catch her in the act and prosecute!

mail theft is the same all over federal mail fraud and they can charge you with it with a jail time
