do i use a metal scrapper or a hard plastic scrapper to remove the old paint that have been heated up thak you

Either one would be fine, but metal will do a better job.

Metal could damage the surface of what you're removing the paint from.

Unless you're working with very hard wood or metal, I would use a plastic scraper.

If it is an old piece of furniture I would use a stripper. I have used alot of different brands, but I found that Dad's Stripper is the best. A little messy but it is good. I wouldn't never use a metal scraper on wood.

I would use the plastic one if its a soft surface but if its a hard surface the metal one would be easy-er and quicker
