Is there a difference between a veterinarian and a veterinary? how about veterinary medicine???

some people tells there is and others tell me its the same....so now im confused.

"Veterinary" is the adjective form of the word. So, a veterinarian is a doctory of veterinary medicine.

a veterinarian is the individual who practices veterinary medicine. veterinary also refers to the type of clinic. such as "happy critters veterinary clinic"
