roughly how many weeks would it take to drive to the middle of russia from london in a land rover or similar type vehicle?

Watch the current re - run of the long way round on men & motor`s they are just about to set off on their epic journey from london via russia , kasakstan , mongolia etc , i think maybe 2-3 week`s but plan it well for border crossing`s and fuel stop`s as i know ewan magregor and charlie boreman came across many obstical`s on the way ! Oh and watch out for the bandit`s & bears .

Those must be some very old globes! During the last ice age, there was a land or ice bridge that connected the continents. That's how east Asians crossed into North America, becoming 'Native American Indians'. The land bridge is not there now, and unlikely anytime soon with rising oceans from global warming.

Well it's 1557miles from London to Moscow. Add another couple hundred to get to the middle of russia. Depends how fast you're going!
Look out for thiefs!! You'll most likely be robbed.

Depends on how many time you get robbed and how many time you have to bribe the milisia... It takes a week to take the train from Moscow to Vladivostok, so by car it could be double or treble at least!
