Expedite? didn't work did it? Most of my experiences have been that they never put it through. I just had to call the public welfare office's administration for something my caseworker and her supervisor could have easily handled last week!!! $93.50 is going to be put back now after they told me they expedited it and of course a week later its process is just beginning now thanks to an efficient admin. worker. Put it in writing and quit wasting your time. If they don't have a file for you they have to make one with the written correspondance you send them. Then when you call they can refer to your account and file.

Could be because you have to have a passport to leave the United States and go ANYWHERE now. I'm sure there are to many applications and not enough staff to get it done. Keep calling.

By "expedite," do you mean you paid the extra $60 for a rush delivery?

Otherwise, they're swamped due to the new regulations.

they're swamped right now due to the new law requiring a passport for visiting Canada. be patient, it will come.
