You will not get a good answer on this one only only repeated rhetoric out of the white house.

Freedom? The Americans have less freedom now than ever before.

Fight the terrorist there and now here? Iraq did not have any terrorist before the war began. Most of the so called "terrorists" involved in 9/11 came from Saudia Arabia? Why didn't Bush attack them?

I believe that it is for world dominate by the US as dictated by Bush and Cheney through deception such as WMD, etc.

could not agree alongside with your premise extra. Our unique objective of 'making them a shinny democracy' has replaced. Our objective now's to basically 'stabilize' the section under their government (their elections are arising this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days), path Al Quaeda, go away and enable them to manage themselves. Stabilization will contain numerous civilian/diplomatic infrastructure/advert visor type projects which will require our 'risk-free practices' amenities.

Obedience to USAian leaders.

Sometimes this is good....it was better to obey the U.S. than Nazi Germany, for example, when our soldiers died in WWII.

Sometimes obedience to USAian leaders is NOT a good ideal to die for. An example would be Vietnam....anybody who died in that, died for a stupid reason and would have been better off had he disobeyed our leaders.

I don't know, as a sailor in the vietnam war I could have cared less.
So why did I stay? The Marines needed us to provide Naval gunfire support. As long as the Marines were there I did my very best to support them.

Freedom.

Plain and simple. Disagree? Read the book, "While Europe Slept". I'm sure you'll change your mind.
