worms?? Where did that come from? Friend told her daughter that in front of me and I was floored, can't see how that can be true. Old wives tale? Have you heard of this? What is the deal?

No, I've never heard of that before. Unless for some kind of problem or tampering, the noodles would have to be contaminated with either soil or human and/or animal feces. This of course is only my opinion. I wouldn't let things like that bother you. I'm sure they're regularly checked by inspectors from the government.

it WON'T give you worms but it'll ACTUALLY MAKE the worms go away because you'll be like a 'mummy' when you die. The worms will not want to eat you up because you've gathered up TOO MUCH preservatives/chemicals inside your body! So don't eat too much of that stuff raw AND cooked. Its unhealthy.

Not true, if it is in the pantry long enough, it might be more prone to getting bugs in it....but eating Ramen noodles "raw" will not give you worms!

I've never heard that and it doesn't sound believable to me. I'd say it's just an old wives tale.

Never heard it and it can not be true since everything in the noodles is pre-cooked.

It's not true. Ramen noodles are sold pre-cooked and dehydrated. You put them in hot water to warm them and re-hydrate them not to cook them because they already cooked.

Your friend has a weird sense of humor, I'll say that for her. But lying to a child is also detestable. Let's see whether she has the good grace to be ashamed of herself!
