It's not the water, it's your hormones. You are not converting to a metabolic pathway to produce your own cordisols and cortizones. You must be going through a hormonal change and around 34 to 50 or... you are under some serious stress which also makes your hormones stop metabolizing.
You need nutritional support for that. You need a good pharmaceutcal grade phytosterol for that.

I know it sounds gross but get checked for scabies. It's pretty rare but infuriating!!! It can pass a lot easier than people think and my family had it for like 3 months before they finally figured out what it was!!! Came from the high school locker room!
The itch is concentrated in different areas. Nipples, belly button, thighs, underarms, groin. And it doesn't affect above the neck. If these are your symptoms that's probably what it is.

I have found that when you change water types ie a hard water area to a soft water you do itch for a while as different areas have different amounts of minerals in the water you eventually acclimatise though... It can take awhile though....
Maybe its something like that...

Maybe you are suffering from dry skin as this can be very itchy. It could also be an allergy. Go to a chemist and ask them they will be able to give you something

If your skin is dry it will itch.
If you have long hot showers, your skin will dry out.
If the water is hard (limestone/chalk area) it will dry your skin.
Try an unscented, pure, body moisturiser.

you probably need to buy a water softener. until then, buy neutrogena body oil and put it on before you get out of the shower.
