Yes, I had a 1957 Dodge Coronet with a wide block 318. It was different from the later 318s. It was known for it's polyspherical combustion chambers. and big fins.

The "polyspherical" wide block 318 was available in Coronets through 1965 when it was replaced by the new design lighter "thin wall" 318 "A" family of engines. This engine was available in this car from 1966 through the last year of Coronet production in 1977. This engine is not the same as the 5.2L Magnum which was available from 1992 through 2003. As you can see, there has been three distinct families of Mopar 318s since 1957 which shared little except displacement.
