Wallpaper is passé at the moment in interior design. If you REALLY want to go that way for a feature wall then you are into £100+ a roll designer stuff. Better to spend a lot less on metallic style emulsions or similar and/or stencils.

Its a matter of taste.
personally I like a little wallpaper on one wall too!
I noticed Wall mart and other discount stores don't have it anymore. You have to order it off the Internet because too many people didn't like standing at counters picking thru book after book.
I think if we would have has at least a phish we would have done it lol
well you still have some wallpaper stores in places of 15000 or more lol.It is irritating tho isn't it!

it is hard to find because of the 1-800 numbers and websites that sell it at a discount. most paint stores stopped buying the books/book plans that cost lots of money, because people were using the books to pick out a pattern, and then ordering online, instead of from the local paint store. why would a store stock books, and then lose sales to discounters. lots of paint/design stores dropped wallpaper over the last 5 years or so. also, the surge in faux finishing has hurt wallpaper sales.

I personally think wallpaper is a thing of the past. Now they make paneling and I don't believe in that they both look cheap and tacky. I wouldn't put wallpaper up in my house and I'm sure other people would lean away from it as well.
