Stranger approaches you and asks you to lunch that day. Do you go?? Assuming he's cute enough.

I think it's okay. Take your car, go to a restaurant that is a public place. Park near the front where you will be safe. Then you can talk, talk, talk in there. Don't let him know where you live at first. Enjoy yourself, but trust your gut instincts!

No....if a stranger comes up to me, out of the blue and asks me to go to lunch, my first thought would be to run like hell. Now, if this stranger decides to strike up an interesting conversation with me and phone numbers are exchanged. Maybe after a few phone calls and getting to know each other I would consider lunch. You just can't trust people anymore.

Depends on the vibe I got from him. If he just walked up and said "Have lunch with me" out of the blue and was all leaning in and creepy acting, then no. If he walked up and started up some conversation (no matter how banal) and then kinda looked me in the eye and said "Hey, are you hungry? I know this great place...." I would probably go have lunch with him.

Now watch, some serial killer will crop up with that exact same pickup line and I'll be doing penance forever.

Well, if a stranger just approached me and all of a sudden asked me out, I would more than likely say no. If he started a conversation with me and just chatted with me for a few minutes, then tried to ask me out, I might be more inclined to take him up on his offer, but that's just me.

Complete stranger? NO.
if he was cute, and seemed nice, and introduced himself and talked with me for a while, I suppose I would.
Watch some friends episodes and take some notes.

I'd be a little cautious but if you meet in a public place, have your own transportation and a cell phone, why not. It's no different than meeting up with someone online, I would let someone close to you know your whereabouts just in case.

Sure, after asking his first and last name and doing a preliminary background check.
