Purgatory does not exist. There are no scriptures that give foundation to this rc invention, other than from their own writings.

The BIBLE says;

"It is appointed unto man ONCE to die, but after this the judgment".

Hebrews 9:27

Between life and death is anywhere between 0-120 years of existence where you do everything you can to "make it" and survive. But I think what you're getting at is that moment between when you are alive and when you die. It's a question that has no right answer. We've had people say they see "The Light" just before dying. Some say they see angels. All of this coming from those who were "officially" dead for some time. I don't think this is something that any of us will ever truly know until we are in that situation. What if it is different for everyone? No one can prove or dis-prove that theory. It is up to your own personal beliefs. Who knows.... maybe we are all wrong. Maybe nothing at all happens. One thing is for sure though... don't trust anyone who tells you exactly how it is. In short, there is no right and wrong answer. :-)

When you die, your soul goes immediately to Heaven or to Hell. There is no Purgatory, Limbo, Never-Never Land, etc., and there is no second chance and no ceremony. It's quick, just, and eternal (i.e. forever - that's a real real long time). It's real, and not a fairy tale. No, I cannot prove it. But nobody can disprove it, either.

As for "what's between life and death", the answer would be "nothing". When you turn off a light switch, the voltage reaching the lamp goes from "on" to "off". It's digital. It's a "1" or a "0".

The Bible says nothing about purgatory. That's another effort by the Catholic Church to get more money. .... Pay them money and you'll get some atonement for your sins, and go to purgatory.

The word says it's heaven or hell. Period. Heaven is a gift from God... It hurts me so much to see people just not accept it because of people and Religion.

Jesus is the way, not the Pope.

Jesus came to save souls, not start a religion.

Jesus is alive, not dead.

Faith surpasses all understanding and knowledge.

Nothing at all. The moment you breath left your nostrils you are just like before you were born, or rather before Adam was created, you know nothing and will return to dust.
Purgatory is one of the pagan lies invented by the devil and adopted by some churches to frighten their members and to get a lot of money for their coffers.

9:5 For the living know that they will die; But the dead know nothing, And they have no more reward, For the memory of them is forgotten.
9:6 Also their love, their hatred, and their envy have now perished; Nevermore will they have a share In anything done under the sun.
9:10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do [it] with your might; for [there is] no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going. (Ecclesiaster 9:5,6,10)

That would depend upon how you look at things - knowledge could be one thing - faith could be another - or you could say there is nothing between life and death - but our first step after conception is birth - so when you say life - do you mean from the moment we are conceived or when we are first born - depending up this - we could answer this question in a number of different ways!

The Right to Enter Paradise

Death is inevitable. The thief on the cross knew when his would occur, but we can not predict our own. After his death, the crucified criminal went to live in paradise with Jesus. Some of us will also live eternally in God's presence. But others will experience everlasting torment, forever separated from Him.
If we receive Jesus as our Savior, our penalty for sin is paid. We are adopted into God's family, and Heaven is our eternal home. If we reject Jesus, we remain alienated from the Lord and under condemnation for our sin. We are destined to experience eternal judgment. God won't accept any of man's excuses because there is no acceptable defense for unbelief. (Acts 4:12)
Become part of God's family today. Acknowledge your sinfulness, and express your faith in these words:
"God, I have sinned against You. (Romans 3:23) I've followed my own way and refused to give You the right to rule in my life. (Romans 3:10-12) I recognize I am separated from You and cannot rescue myself. I do believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son. I accept the truth of the Scriptures? that His death on the cross paid my sin-debt in full. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) And I ask You to forgive me of my sins. (1 John 1:9) By faith, I receive You, Lord Jesus, as my personal Savior from this moment on."
If you just spoke those words to God, then, like the thief on the cross, you have received salvation? a gift of God's grace. The heavenly Father welcomes every person who comes to Him through His Son, regardless of background, age, or current situation. Through Jesus, the right to enter paradise is yours!

According to Buddhist philosophy: the "bardo" or stages of death, then rebirth according to your karma

Dying. The act of getting from life to death. Hope that it is quick, instantaneous, and painless. Otherwise it could be a real drag.
