I found the best thing since sliced bread...http://www.crutchfield.com/S-9oDEWuNVIo6/cgi-bin/prodview.asp?i=142FMMOD01
It's not wireless.
It feeds your audio signal from a headphone jack ( or RCA cables) by FM modulation, directly into the antenna input on your radio bypassing the antenna when on, allowing the radio to work as normal when off. It comes with an On/Off switch that can used or it can be replaced with a relay powered by the remote wire from the radio (if so equiped).
This IS the answer. Totally versatile.

They have lots of different names but basically they are transmitters that plug into your cigarette lighter. They come with a wire that goes from the MP3 player to the transmitter unit. You then tune your radio to the unused station that the transmitteer broadcasts to and presto.. instant player
Belkin makes one for about $30... there are others available too.

I think the device you want is called an FM Radio Transmitter. It is used to transmit the music from your IPod (MP3 Player) to your car's stereo.

What you want is an FM transmitter so you can hear your MP3 player through your speakers. It works through an unused frequency on your FM radio.

I upgraded my old Archos Jukebox to an iPod not too long ago, and I couldn't be happier. It's powerful, simple, and worry-free. Plus, since everything in the world (from automobiles to sunglasses to jackets to backpacks) seems to be catering to the iPod these days, it's got endless accessories. Mine is 40GB and I've never had a speck of trouble while working out with it. All in all, I'm very impressed.
