my fiance and I have had this argument about 10 times now. Whenever he is away, (we don't live together) sometimes it's so difficult to talk on the phone to him because he just sits there. Then I get upset so I just sit there and noone says anything. Then he gets all defensive about it if I complain about it. I know this is a typical guy thing and that talking on the phone is not on most guys top 10 favorite things ever list. But last night he just got SO mad and said he feels like he trys SO hard but always disappoints me and that he sucks as a boyfriend. Which is of course not true. I've told him before that I just feel like he doesn't really want to talk to me or that the only reason I get upset is because he gets so mad about it...anyway, I tried to apologize last night and he wouldn't even txt me back and he's still mad at me today so I don't know what else I can do...

Some people just don't make calls. I'm one of them. I don't call my mom, my brother, my friends... I'll talk to any of them if they call, but for whatever reason I don't call them.
The only exception is my wife. I'll call her because I feel a responsibility to let her know where I am -- and sometimes just because I miss the sound of your voice.
But just because your guy doesn't call you doesn't mean he doesn't care about you. He sounds a little whiny, but he also sounds like he wants to keep you happy.
Just tell him, "No pressure, but it would help a lot if we could talk on the phone more often."

He'll get over it. Don't text him anymore. No need to keep arguing about it; he knows how you feel. If you argue, yell, scream about it, he will only tune you out. Believe it or not, he heard you the first time. When he's away, no matter how hard, don't call him let him call you. He might feel that you aren't giving him a chance to miss him. Try that and see if it works.

I suck when it comes to talking on the phone. I do the same thing he does. Why not instant message instead. I feel much more comfortable doing this then talking on the phone.Good Luck.

hi remmber you carnt make him like or do the the right thing by you if he really cares likes loves you then as the old saying gos it takes two really you can only be you just like he is he you should be the only one to say sorry but since you did now just leave the rest up to him and see how much he cares and you if he does then it souldin take long for him to call you and talk but the long it takes him [wthout u calling him frst ]then you get your answer you can talk openly with him see if he does back to.
