My kitten just got spade on Weds, and she fell off a ledge of a staircase on Saturday and fell on her feet and was fine. She was all excited and continued to play after words. We noticed later that she now has lump along the line of her incesion where her stitches are. She is now sleeping alot, but eats, drinks, cleans her self, goes to the bathroom normally and does come for pets and playing a couple times a day. Does she just have a cold and normal scar building, or should I be more worried?

On the impact of the landing a bit of tissue probably just forced its way out a little, but as long as its not swelling or red or leaking you should be fine. When my kitten was spayed she was a bit drownsy for a few days too. You'll be fine kitty!

She may have pulled some of her internal stitches. Weeping surgery sites are prone to infection. Treat the area with Neosporin. If the site continues to weep or if it starts to look red and swollen or feels "hot" to the touch, get your cat to the vet (those are signs of infection).

You really needed to keep her from climbing all over stuff so soon after her surgery. It's hard with cats, we know, but very necessary if the surgery site is to heal properly.

Its more than likely just scar tissue forming. I wouldnt worry as long as you dont see puss, blood, or ripping. She is okay.
