okay what does 'color' have to do with a woman starting over?
And starting over with what? A career? Dating? Raising children? The question lacks substance.

It's never stupid for a woman of any color or any age to start over. It may get harder to do so as age progresses, but it is never stupid. The will to seek anew is the very substance that keeps us living and growing. The real question you should ask yourself is: is it stupid for a woman of 49 to give up on having happiness?

No, it is NOT stupid, and 49 years is not the end of your life.
It sounds as if you have had a very hard time in some way, a divorce or a bereavement. And I'm sorry for that. But what makes me feel glad for you is that you have hope, that you know there's a possibility of starting over. Good for you.
It's a beautiful world. Be happy. Work hard. Have fun. There are lots of great people everywhere, and you are clearly one of them.

It's not stupid for a "WOMAN OF COLOR" to start over at 49, IF SHE PUTS GOD 1ST!!!!
Women have the Strength and Power to do anything at anytime! So I would have to say NO! It's not stupid, Be passionate about whatever it is you are about to do!

No more foolish than a person of any colour to start anew. Myself I am 51 years old and my fiance 49 and we are both starting over and damn it's as exciting as being a teenager again when you first meet that someone special. Go for it and believe that your as good now as you were 20 years ago, or even better. Good luck.

No, it's not stupid. Some times things happen in life that cause you to start over many times and color has nothing to do with it.
