hmmm.... hard to tell what your question is. If your asking when will the make alcohol illegal then the answer is never most likely. The US government tried to ban alcohol already in the temperance movement also known as prohibition, and failed miserably at it. All they really succeeded in is losing a few billion dollars in taxes and strengthening organized crime across the country. The reason the US will always keep alcohol legal is exactly that. 1st it makes a lot of money for them, tobacco too... but that’s a whole different topic, and 2nd because alcohol is so damn easy to make. A backwoods inbred hick can make really strong alcohol with nothing more exotic than what can be found at any hardware store. Home brewing is becoming popular more than every before as people discover they can make beer far superior to most domestic brews and a fraction of the cost... and hell it's fun to do.

So what are people afflicted with rampant alcoholism supposed to do in this situation? Well no one ever said the government was fair, and they certainly aren’t going to stop selling alcohol just because some people have trouble with it. They can slap all sorts of sanctions on you, making you take drugs to stop drinking, classes to stop drinking or even putting you in jail to stop drinking. But none of those things can make you stop drinking if you don’t want to…. It’s a sick twisted circle. Have a nice day.
