Right, gross one folks. My beau has piles and they're driving him, and consequently me mad. Any tips?

Please help. If I catch him one more time with his hand down the back of his trousers, and a strange look wash over his face, I may just walk out of the house ....

Some anusol or germaloids from the pharmacy, they would help. Are the piles coming out of his bottom or is it an external pile (just outside of the anus?) External ones will burst and there will be a fair bit of blood for a few days but it will heal up ok. If they are internal piles then they can be pushed back in, he could also see about having an operation if they are really upsetting to him.

Get him to try some haemorrhoid cream like germoloids. It has a local anaesthetic in it which will bring instant relief. They also do a spray which has hydrocortisone in to reduce the itch and inflammation. If internal haemorrhoids try the suppositories.

Go GP and get a referral for injections into haemorrhoids or banding to get rid of them for good.

Hmm he probably needs to go to the doctor. If internal piles, tell him he's going to have to be brave - basically the doctor will need to put elastic bands around them 'up there' (using his hands and a special small camera). And, yes, he will be awake through it all (I speak from first hand experience unfortunately)

Dr.gave my brother suppositories,they didn`t work,he said for all the good they did he would have been as well sticking them up his *rs*.
