It is against the law to to have red flashing lights on any vehicle, motorbike(accept rear of police bike, recovery vehicle) as the law states that red flashing lights are used to warn of a hazard ie stationry emergency vehicle, railway crossing and all that shite.
The Road Vehicles Lighting (Amendment) Regulations 2005 - covering flashing cycle lamps, was allowed for pedal bikes, which means those irritating flashing lights they have.
If you do fit them it is unlikley you will get a fine you will just get some dogering old fart of a police man stop you and say ya cant have them

I think this a tricky question, MC's dont have fog lights do they ? I know it is illegal to put any light on a car unless it shows white to the front and red to the rear, so all these blue lights on cars are illegal. In my opinion I would say that it would be ok on MC but the surest way to find out would be to ask at the local Police station and ask there. If they dont know nobody does but at least they can advise you. Do you wear reflective clothing at night and does your MC have anything reflective because as a driver I know they are sometimes hard to see at nite. also always drive with your headlite on even in the day because you are easier to spot. not a lot of help but I am trying to think from a car drivers perspective.I had to come back to this one. I think all MC riders should be able to do anything to be more noticeable. More get killed and injured every year because stupid drivers dont look out for them. good luck but make sure first.

Two answers....1 other than direction indicators lamps must light continuously on moving vehicles....2 Vehicle light fittings must carry the "E" mark, showing approval for road use. Why risk drawing attention to yourself? are you sure you are 110% legal?

Yeah, they are unlawful. you do not would desire to instruct them directly to violate. additionally, think of roughly it. in case you get pulled over and the cop asks you why you have them, does not it sound exceptionally stupid to tell him to procure them "simply by fact they seem intimidating"? you're in actuality admitting you elect human beings to think of you're a cop. remember of fact, bypass seem up the Decepticon Crown Vic. man made it appear as if a transformer cop vehicle in simple terms for exciting. in simple terms had white strobes. He have been given arrested for impersonation. Nowhere on the vehicle did it say police or have any variety of badge or superstar kind.

No, they will not be legal for use on the road.
you can have them installed 'for show use', but if caught using them on a UK road you WILL be stopped if 'plod' sees them.
You could just plead ignorance...most traffic cops are sympathetic towards motorcyclists trying to be safe.
