No - actually it's only arrogance and pride if you believe it is.
Jesus said some things like 'don't judge people,' or 'love your enemies.' However I think that a lot of people have talked themselves into believing that in taking a stance that says to people "I know and you don't" somehow advances their cause. Now to you or I it could feel as if they're being judgemental against someone that doesn't agree with their belief system. But if I were to hold them to some kind of benchmark to them - telling them that they are wrong and they are being prideful - well, I've just done the same thing that I'm challenging them about. It's a no win situation.
I don't contribute to negativity if I don't have to. You can't always be positive but you can work to get negativity out of your life.

Some of the users on Y!A are Junior High aged or close to it.
Others have a bit more maturity.
Unless they've filled out their profiles, you have no way to know who you're dealing with. Still others are stunted in their development because religion has taught them to repeat pat answers that are more designed to give them a response than to pass on information.
Yes, it's arrogance, but arrogance masks insecurity.

I see your point. I can almost agree with you except I believe at times all of us have a difficult time in written expression.
It can be challenging to to convey certain thoughts, feelings and beliefs.
It is not about who is right and who is wrong. it is about who has found truth and who has not. If you have not found the truth it basically makes you ignorant to it (ignorance is not insulting everyone is ignorant about something.)
Personally, I believe that we all NEED JESUS. People who do not feel the same way either do not have an understanding of that need or it is hard to accept the fact that despite what they are God can still love them, even in their fleshy state.

Personally in my book pride is a virtue.
However their remarks are more a sign of simple mindedness. They don't engage the issues they just blow a lot of smoke.

It's only prideful if they aren't right. If they are right it now falls under the category of "truth".
