hello all, I'm 28 weeks pregnant and I walk alot, so walking shouldn't hurt as much as it has the past few days. It's like my whole left side from my hip bone to the bottom of my ribs cramp right up, I can't even walk a block without this happening, let alone working (I'm a grocery store cashier, the repetitive nature is getting to me too). do you think it's worth seeing a doctor or is there something that I can take to get rid of this pain/cramp? cause I walk everywhere getting to the doctor will be excurciating.

It probably has a lot to do with the baby's position.

In the last trimester of my pregnancy, my son did awful things to my insides. One of his favorite places to keep a foot was between my pelvic bone and my skin. Talk about painful! And talk about a funny place for a woman to have a lump!!

Do a lot of stretching. See if you can coax junior to move around. It might simply be he's got a foot stuck where your body doesn't think it belongs.

If it doesn't pass after a few more days, I'd see if you could catch a RIDE to the doctor.

Good luck! And congrats!
