4 years is no big deal, provided he is mature. Part of the point of dating is to see how well you get along anyway. Give it a try and find out.

I would if i had known they guy a while or knew he was mature. also It depends on how i felt for the guy. If i really liked him age wouldn't matter and plus when you are 22 and 26 that isn't that much difference as it is. if you both like each other you should go for it. what do you have to lose. 4 years is not a huge difference at all.

I am a woman and a four-year difference is not bad, especially if you are a guy that has his act together. So, if you like a 26-year-old ask her out. My husband is almost three years younger than me. As you get older, the age difference closes in and four years is not a lot. You are in the same age group.

I am 43 and I would go out with a 25, 27 or 30 year old. Age doesn't matter as long as there is great conversation, laughter, humor, sensitivity, desire, passion, love, great sex, great support, admiration, fun, sadness and commitment.
Or it can be just for the excitement :-)

i dont believe age should matter so much. thats only 4 years. i mean a 40 yr old and a 20 yr old yeah thats something else but i think 10 years at the max and under in distance is fine.

hell yea I would I am 25, and I have a 22 year old that likes me, but I am a single mom of a 2 year old, so I dont have time. i would go for it if I were you!

If you get on well and don't notice the age gap, why not? It's not that big a gap and nobody would think twice if the man were older! As long as neither of you consider it a problem, go for it!

why not? If you were 18 and he was 14 that would be different. But you are both over 21. Adults. Doesn't matter.

I am 40 and my husband is 35.....And kisses the ground I walk on pretty much. I am very fortunate. However....men don't really mature anyhow.
