I see this guy fairly often but I'd rather avoid it because its been hard to not think of him since I made the decision to be with bf. I think there is or was a spark between the other guy and me but now I'll never know but that doesn't make it easier to forget. I seen him the other day and I couldn't duck into the office soon enough. So we xchanged the usual 'hi, hows it goin' then I was gone only to regret not speaking to him because I really wanted to.

Everything, everyone in your future will be compromised by this person you think back about and then by doing so you limit all your ability to give and nurture your existing direction because of what? If this ghost from the past was so good why aren't you two still together? Dump the ghost dreaming or you'll surly loose the boyfriend.

It sounds to me as though you're very confused. You need to sit and think about what you want and who you want. Even though your guy makes you happy and he's great doesn't mean he's the one for you. Think about what your guy does for you and what you think this other guy can do. Weigh your pros and cons with both and make your choice.
