There is a guy at my gym who I catch looking at me a lot when I'm not looking at him. He is very shy, but he talks to my parents because they talk to him. My parents keep trying to tell me to talk to him (I don't know why). I tend to freeze whenever he starts coming my way. We made eye contact the other day and then I immediately looked away. I'm not sure if he's interested or what I can do to keep myself from ignoring him, because I'm so nervous..it's almost like stage fright or something. Any suggestions?

u like him. sometimes when u like someone or have feelings for someone u r not sure about it they tend to make u feel nervous and freeze ur brain activity whenever u lay eyes on them.

Yea I used to experience that same thing, and now that i'm just a hair older and alittle wiser and know that that is just silly silly silly. Because really they are no better than you are, and chances are he's the one who should be nervous about what you think, right! I say just start talking to him, maybe get hints off your parents about what he has talked to them about, or as I always did to be sure they were interested was wait to see if they approached me first which may or may not happen, if not no biggie really theres lots of fish in the sea as they say. I know you wanna know well your gonna have to take a deep breath and make an effort or you can not do anything and keep wondering, which one will it be???, good luck Kim

Well ask yourself... are you nervous or are you interested in him because you find him attractive but TOO shy to get to know him?
If he's looking at you then it sounds like he thinks you're beautiful! So what have you got to lose!? Talk to him for goodness sake!
Life is short.... one day you are going to sooo regret it. So get yourself off the couch and get moving!
