I am looking for information on a boxer from Texas who boxed in the late 50's or early 60's (bantam weight class). Is there a list or someone I can contact to get that kind of information? I tried the amateur boxing association and the web address I had was incorrect.

It is almost impossible to get any information on boxers before 1987. The only information the Golden Gloves web site gives is each year's champions. There is no central archive for amateur boxing information. You might try posting your question on the boxrec.com Amateur Forum.

just look up golden gloves boxing....there will be a list and dates of different fights and fighters...try ask.com if that doesnt work..good luck
