If the puppy is only 4 months old, I don't think his sperm is actually mature yet. My vet told me not until they are 6 months old. But, that doesn't mean it couldn't happen. Are you trying to get your dog pregnant? Why?

You really haven't done this before have you???? First off your male is a little too young for you to be trying to breed him, try waiting until he's at least a year old or your going to be putting him in alot of danger. Same thing with your female, she should be at least a year and a half more towards 2 years before you should be breeding her.

It's possible if the female wasn't spayed. Take her to the vet immediately for a spay/abort if she is pregnant, and a spay if she's not. And make an appointment for the male to be nuetered immediately - while obviously YOUR female won't be able to get pregnant by him once she's spayed, he still puts other unaltered females at risk.

So, let's see, you have at least one female and at least two males that have access to her and NONE of them are altered? I can understand the 4 month old not being neutered but the rest? Are they old enough to be spayed/neutered???

I would call the vet and check. If the dog is a small breed, they mature faster and the sperm could be viable. If it's a large breed, it might not be.

Is your female in heat? I would recommend spaying her ASAP. You don't want to be irresponsible, do you??

Yes they can be because it doesn't matter how old or young they are they can still breed.

If they are mature enough to "do it" then they are generally capable of reproducing.
