Yes, rosaries are always the same. There are many websites that explain what the rosary is and how to pray it. The beads are divided into groups of 10, called "decades", separated by 3 larger beads. The groups of 10 are used to say the Hail Mary, the groups of 3 are for the Our Father (Lord's Prayer) and the Gloria.
The person is supposed to meditate on the "mysteries" while praying. Mysteries are events in the life of Jesus such as the Crucifixion, being found in the Temple, etc. They are divided into the "joyous or glorious mysteries" and the "sorrowful" mysteries. There are 15 decades, 150 beads total, and tradition says there are twice as many joyful mysteries as sorrowful..."five for sorrow, ten for joy."
Google "praying the rosary" for more information.

ROSARY beads, not "rosmary".
"rosary: A set of prayers common in the Roman Catholic Church, said during meditation on events in the lives of Jesus and of Mary, the mother of Jesus. A rosary is also the string of beads that the worshiper uses to count the prayers."

The rosary, a “string of fifty or one hundred and fifty beads separated into tens by others of larger size and joined at the ends by a crucifix, presently preceded by three beads.”
Diccionario Enciclopédico Hispano-Americano states: “Similar beads are in use in Islamic, Lamaist and Buddhist worship.” Indeed, the Encyclopedia of Religion and Religions notes: “It has been suggested that the Mohammedans derived the Rosary from the Buddhists, and the Christians from the Mohammedans at the time of the Crusades.”

If you are refering to Rosary beads, they are used for prayers. Each bead represents a specific prayer, You hold 1 bead at a time and recite the specific prayer. As far as I remember, there are only 3 prayers involved, so there is a lot of repetition,

"Rosary beads are NOT used by true born again Christians - ONLY Roman Catholics... God does not hear the prayers of those who are not saved or born again through Christ Jesus"
Goodness me! I never knew that!
What a bummer for all those millions of people that lived between 300-1960 CE whose prayers were (evidently) in vain.
I wonder why God never bothered to tell anyone until the evangelical renewal of the late 1960s? How cruel He can be....
Oh, no. It's OK. I've just read that the 'Born Again' identity is a cultural construct made popular in the 1970's in the U.S. Phew! Had me worried for a second there.

its the amount of prayer you do, its to keep count. I think you will find that they are set out in 10 space 1 space 10 space 1 etc. As far as I know its a catholic wasy of praying 10 Hail Mary's and 1 Our Father right the way round the beads.

Rosary beads
A set of prayers on string. For catholics, they have 59 beads total. Five decades of Hail Mary seperated by four Our fathers. Then there is a dangly strand that has a Our Father, three Hail Marys, another Our father.
I think Buddhists have one, but I don't know what prayers are on it.

Rosary beads are NOT used by true born again Christians - ONLY Roman Catholics. The rosary is nothing more than a ritual created by the head of the RC church many years ago. It serves no purpose at all. It is nothing more than a part of idolatry in the RC church. For instance, with each bead, you say a prayer, then move on to the next bead and do the same, repeating the same prayer on each bead: Hail Mary and Our Father... The rosary is meaningless because first of all, you need only to pray straight to God Himself from your heart - NOT on any rosary beads or any other means. God does not hear the prayers of those who are not saved or born again through Christ Jesus. The RC church is nothing more than a pagan empire that gets rich and stays wealthy with the offerings from millions of spiritually blind people all over the world. God does not hear any 'Hail Marys' because they are prayers that are in vain and mean nothing - just a mere part of their idolatry - that's all. The entire RC empire is nothing more than a man-made religion that is completely unbiblical - they make up their OWN rituals and traditions that have nothing to do with the bible.

do u mean rosary beads? i think they are the same for catholics the world over, we use them to pray, as u pray u move your fingers to the next bead, the prayers are said in sets, called decades of the rosary, we say hail mary's and our father's and glory be's..these are the three main prayers, its kinda like a chant, it can be said in a group out loud and is the most powerful way to pray to our lady-mary, the mother of god and also in silence

Sorry, my little bigot, but they are used by the Orthodox Church and Eastern-Rite Catholics, the Anglican Communion, and the Lutheran Church. And Buddhists also use a form of rosary.
I do love the way you, a supposed Christian, totally ignore your saviour's message to love one another, and just weigh into another Christian sect cos they are different from yours. Way to go, great example!
