I just joined a gym and I'm getting married in June! I was just wondering what types of exercises, as in lifting weights, running, etc. I should do to lose some weight?? Right now i work out 4 times a week! I start off walking/running then lift weights 2 sets of 10 of bench press, leg curls, etc. and then end with more walking to cool down. Any suggestions on what i should do more if any??? Thanks

Try out different classes(Yoga, Pilate's(sp) etc) along with your weight training. Think of intensity during exercise. I find this to be more beneficial. Less times a week, but more intense during.

I like elliptical machines. They are good cardio exercise and you can burn lots of calories but you can also tone your legs, butt and thighs on it too. Use weight machines to tones arms and back muscles.

check out some group fitness classes....you tend to work out harder when there's "competition" in the room!
