Songbirds are part of the largest order of birds, passerines. The are perching birds of many different kinds. Some are insectavores, some frugavores (eating fruit) or seed eating. They have various ways of nesting, some birds, like Blue Birds building their nests in cavities and some building nests out of twigs, leaves and grasses. The young are precocial, that is born without feather and with their eyes closed. They are cared for by either the mother or both parents until fledging, when they are fully feathered and the same size as the parents. This generally takes 3 or 4 weeks.

I hope this helps
