Friedrich Nietzsche said in "The Antichrist": in essence there was only one true christian, and He died on the cross

Practicing what someone preaches and living a lie free life, has little to do with being a true Christian. A true Christian gives up all his worldy possessions, and actually lives as Christ lived, helping the sick, the poor... loving your enemies, and doing all that one can to save the souls of all he comes in contact with.

I can think of only one person who in recent history has actually done that... Mother Teresa... Everything else in the Christian Religion: churches, missionaries, who impose Christianity on ignorant, technologically backwards peoples, is worthless, meaningless, trivial window dressing.

actually living a lie-free life is contrary to a real christian...because a real christian is one who realizes his/her own depravity and sees need for a savior...and if anyone ever lived a lie-free life then Jesus died in vain because we never needed a savior...A Christian is someone who sees God for who He is and realizes that the every little happenings in life are accounted for and seen by God...and in return a true Christian doesn't lie because they can't they don't lie because they don't want to...they don't lie because they have received the love og God and want to obey His commands out of love....and if/when they do slip up or lie...they are able to come to the throne of grace and seek forgiveness and repentance to maintain fellowship with God...because a justified lie would keep distance and barriers between a true relationship with God...so it's not about being sinless...its about sinning less...and it's about having a problem with a lie whether it is done or not...character and integrity is shown here but not perfection...its a matter of owning up to a mistake and seeking forgivness and justification by God...not making mistakes and living a life of lies that are justified by self.

thats not what christianity is. Christianity is believing in Jesus Christ and accepting we aren't perfect. Its believing in humanity. Not living a lie free life. We aren't perfect, he was the only perfect one and our ultimate goal. Everything else is just for show.
These questions are not only insulting but show a serious lack of intelligence and imagination. Its all been said, if you want to bash Christianity or any religion, come up with something new.
Jesus turned the other cheek, the rest of us aren't that gracious.

I have known people like that.

However, being a true Christian doesn't require living lie-free. If one sins, one asks for forgiveness and tries his best not to repeat the offense.

You can only be a True Christian if you actually read Gods word the Bible, gain an Accurate knowledge of what God requires of you and follow Christs example that he gave when he was alive and what he taught his disciples to teach the world.
John 17:16 "16 They are no part of the world, just as I am no part of the world."
True worshippers are "no part of the world", are not divided by race or culture, and display"Love among themselves"
Acts 10:34,34 At this Peter opened his mouth and said: “For a certainty I perceive that God is not partial,"rather than killing one another, they are willing to die for one another."
1 John 3:16 By this we have come to know love, because that one surrendered his soul for us; and we are under obligation to surrender [our] souls for [our] brothers"
Instead of teaching "traditions and commands of men as doctrines" true religion bases its doctrine on God's word, the Bible.
Mathew 15:3 In reply he said to them: “Why is it YOU also overstep the commandment of God because of YOUR tradition? 4 For example, God said, ‘Honor your father and your mother’; and, ‘Let him that reviles father or mother end up in death.’ 5 But YOU say, ‘Whoever says to his father or mother: “Whatever I have by which you might get benefit from me is a gift dedicated to God,” 6 he must not honor his father at all.’ And so YOU have made the word of God invalid because of YOUR tradition. 7 YOU hypocrites, Isaiah aptly prophesied about YOU, when he said, 8 ‘This people honors me with their lips, yet their heart is far removed from me. 9 It is in vain that they keep worshiping me, because they teach commands of men as doctrines.’” 10 With that he called the crowd near and said to them: “Listen and get the sense of it: 11 Not what enters into [his] mouth defiles a man; but it is what proceeds out of [his] mouth that defiles a man.”
True Religions Strengthens Familie and upholds High Moral Standards.
True Religion trains husbands to Love thier wives as thier own bodies", helps wives to develop deep rspect for their husbands, and teaches children to be obedie to their parents.
Does your religion meet these standards?
the next time one of Jehovah's Witnesses come to your door to share a Bible TRUTH, maybe you should want to listen, because they are the only ones that strive to worship the True God Jehovah!

I am working hard on being a real Christian. Perhaps I slip sometimes; I'm sorry.

I don't think so....I mean even the ones thousands of years ago were murderers. Jesus probably could be considered the last "true" christian but he wasn't even christian...he was Jewish
