1. Set aside ten weeks before the date the weight needs to be off. Doctors have said that weight loss of more than 2-3 pounds a week (or 500g per week in metrics) is hazardous to your health.
2. Cut out fast food meals, super-sized anything won't help you lose those vanity pounds
3. replace high fat foods with veggies, whole grains, and fruits.
4. If you're eating meat, the average portion size is 3 oz. which is roughly the size of your fist, so any more than that and you'll gain weight, not lose it. Cut the fatty bits, not matter how tasty it really is.
5. drink lots of water. This will not only trick your mind into thinking your not hungry, but it will clean out your system and help you lose water weight. 5-15 lbs of your body weight is water weight and its the easiest to shed in the least amount of time. However, fad diets do feed on this false sense of achievement. If you do want to lose weight long term, there's almost impossible to lose that much weight over a month.
6. remember to work out for at least a hour, three times a week, but no more than five times. Your body needs a rest every once an a while. NEVER work out too intensely, either. If you go faster than a jog, you can't burn fat efficiently.
7. Stay away from salts and sugars.

I just started on a diet myself. Not going by any set diet but my own. Here is a site I found where you can join for free and put in the food you eat and it will tell you how many Cal. you are eating in a day. www.fitday.com I set how many calories a day I want to keep at. I want no more than 1200 calories a day, plus I work out at least 35 minutes a day. I eat my breakfeast and then some veggies for lunch. For supper I eat pretty much the same. Walking is good for you. Since you are short of breath try just walking. When your on the phone walk and know how long you walk. You can also record your activites on that site. When your walking use your arms to help get a upper body as well. While walking maybe around in your yard try jogging for 30 secs, and then walk again. This is all I really know that would help. Good luck.

I actually did this myself about 10 years ago. Here are my thoughts on this process........
1. Don't listen to people who tell you to exercise like crazy right now. If you are 100+ pounds overweight, then exercising is both dangerous and unhealthy physically for you at this time.
2. Lose at least 20 pounds before you try to exercise for quicker weight loss. I used a high-protein/low-fat diet for the first two months to accomplish this initial weight loss. After I had dropped about 10 pounds, I began to go for 1-2 mile walks once or twice a day. Nothing fast or hard on my knees/ankles...just nice and slow.
3. Keep a "Food Diary" of everything...EVERYTHING...you put in your mouth, even water. Keep a strict list of calories ingested and stop eating when you reach 1000-1200 calories per day. No more and definitely no less than 1000.
4. After you lose 25 or 30 pounds, increase your level of exercise. Go for longer walks and increase the speed of walking. However, if your ankles or knees begin to hurt, then you should slow down and reduce the pressure on them. By this time, you may notice that you have more energy and want to start "jogging", but you should avoid jogging...too much pressure on your knees/ankles.
5. After you drop 40-50 pounds, then begin to add bicycling or rollerblading to your walking routine. Vary your exercise type and location to keep it interesting. If possible, now that you're getting lighter on your feet, find an exercise partner and do things together.
6. After the first 50 pounds come off and you feel better, then simply keep doing the same things. Add new forms of exercise as you wish and might enjoy. The second 50 pounds will steadily melt away so long as you continue to behave.
THE KEY TO SUCCESS IS THE FOOD DIARY. Never quit it.

Herbalife! I have been on their products now for 2 months and I have lost 20 pounds and a ton of inches and this is the only diet that has ever worked for me. I have a slice of pie for breakfast, another for lunch and whatever I want for dinner. I love the products so much I now distribute them and I am a Weightloss and Wellness Coach! Let me know if I can give you a free wellness evaluation and do for you the same thing my coach (and best friend) has done for me! Good Luck!

In order to lose fat you need to improve your diet (stay away from junk food).
Here is a link that can give you guidance on how to lose weight.
http://www.muscletech.com/NUTRITION/HIGH_PERFORMANCE_NUTRITION/ISSUE_3/index.shtml
You will need to learn which foods you can eat and which food will prevent you from losing weight. Generally low fat protein sources such as chicken, turkey, and fish, egg whites, etc. are good to eat. Red meat is fine once in awhile, but if you want to lose weight it is best to stay away from it for awhile because it is higher in fat. Fruit and veggies are obviously very important too. Never eat white bread or pasta. Eat whole wheat food such as Fiber One cereal. Many cereals are high in sugar and you should avoid sugar if you want to lose weight. Oatmeal is good too, but it has to be the large flake type, Not instant or pre-packaged flavour oatmeal because it has been processed and sugar has been added in the flavoured ones. Add your own flavour to oatmeal such as cinnamon, splenda (or stevia) and vanilla. For dairy, drink skim (non-fat) milk and plain yogurt with no sugar. You can add berries to sweeten the yogurt and add flavour. Cottage cheese is also a good source of protein, it is good if you mix it with fruit, I prefer slices of orange or mandarin oranges. It's a good idea to keep a food diary and track your weight,
This website does all the work (calculations) for you www.fitday.com
It will tell you how many calories you eat and lots of other stuff!
You need to do cardiovascular exercise to burn fat. Some activities burn more fat than others. Here is a link where you can enter your personal information, choose an activity, duration and it will calculate the calories you burn.
http://preventdisease.com/healthtools/articles/various_activities.html
You can exercise outside or buy exercise DVD's, or buy cardio equipment for the home.
Surf the web to find others. The important thing is work hard enough to get your heart rate up.Here is a link to a target heart rate calculator.
http://exercise.about.com/cs/fitnesstools/l/bl_THR.htm
Weightlifting will also cause you to lose weight by raising your metabolism. The faster your metabolism is, the more calories you burn. Don't worry, weightlifting will not cause you to look like a bodybuilder. It is extremely difficult to get that look. Get a set of weights for home.
As you can see there is alot of work involved in losing fat. If it was easy everybody would be thin. It's not easy, that's why there are so many obese people. It takes two important things, work and education to lose weight. This should get you started!!!

Time.
For exercise, turn to FiTV and do one or two programs every day.
Start walking for 30 minutes.
Fill up on vegetables and snack on fruit.
Drink a LOT of water.
Buy some dumbbells and lift weights to make your body dense.
Don't give up! You didn't gain 100 pounds overnight, you won't take it off overnight!

count your calories and dont eat sweeting and watch your bread intake.. If at all pobbible yiu need to excerise every day, and walking would be good for you. But the first thing that you need to do is go to the dr and have a checkup and tell him what you want to do and he or she might even be able to give you a diet sheet to go by.

Best way is probably to see your GP or local pharmacist or a health expert who can measure your body fat, BMI, etc. They could advise a suitable way of exercising to prevent injury. Just ask them for a simple diet plan that will work best for you. Good luck!

It's never unhealthy to lose too much weight - it all depends on how fast you lose it. You should try to lose 5 - 8 lbs a week. If you lose too much too fast it can be very unhealthy on your body.
