The two biggest contributors to global warming are Air Planes and Industry. When 911 happened and no planes flew for a week the hole in the ozone closed. My solution would be to retrofit all Air Crafts including Passenger Jets, Fighter Jets, and Hilicopters with an ionizer on the exhaust system. Similar or based on the idea of the Ionic breeze that you can purchase for your home. Also make it manditory to have them on the roof of any buidling spewing polution into the atmospher, like most of China!!! Eventually add them to automobiles and what not. I think this would be the cheapest and fasted way to turn global warming around. Looking at the design it is very basic, and very cheap to make. On a large scale these things could be spit out in no time. What are your thoughts?

I would agree, if that is the reason we are experiencing global warming it would be a good start. I would think that the ionizer would have to be modified however, I'm not sure how the ionizer would stand up against some of China's industries output of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Or how it would with stand the heat of the exhaust of the jets on Air Planes. But it's a good place to start. It is a very basic and cheap design. Something that would work for everyone because you wouldn't be paying huge dollars to curb your pollution. Then we can work on making cleaner means of fuels with out breaking the bank for the industries creating a lot of green house gases. However if something like this were put in place I would like to see the test results of just how this gets rid of the green house gases. They should make these tests public. Like showing a jet engine operating, then a reading of the emissions, then an ionizer connected to it, and again showing the emissions. Make this a demonstration for the public to witness, slap it up on the net. That would be cool.

We don't know what the biggest contributor to global warming is. Check out "Little Ice Age" and the changing of Northern Hemisphere average temperatures over the last 1000 years. Our current "global warming" could be entirely natural. I'm not saying we should pollute our earth but rather we really don't have enough information on long term weather patterns.

Since we don't know the "biggest contributor", suggesting "a solution" seems a little early.

I already know the solution of globale warming.
First it is not a bad thing when we will discover that climat change has two factors . The temperature of atmosphere and the dryness of undergrounds.
The overpumping of water reserves is hided or forgaven by scientists.

The real bad factor is the dryness , the drought. It change the climats in bad ways. the green effect is good for the evolution of the climat but if we irrigate the deserts of all the planet.
Deserts are not realy natural . they become natural when human forgot they did and not only now. Of course the volcans and sun activities can modify the climat too but humans can control the climat.
On all river bassins we should catch the water to guide it in canals to regulat the water from rains to underground reserve

Actually, aviation accounts for less than 2% of greenhouse emissions in industrial nations, less elsewhere.

And ionizers just charge particles in the air - they do not reduce greenhouse gases, so they would only make matters worse because they actually consume energy and hence produce more greenhouse gases.

Cars and heating are easily the largest contributors to the greenhouse effect - about 50% between them. So the solution is obvious - stay home in the cold.

I think the best way would be to switch from gasoline based cars into electric hybrids for now then later as the technology improves completely electric cars. Cutting down emissions from automobiles would be a major step in improving air quality and lowering the amount of greenhouse gasses in the air.
