It depends on whether or not you are a bit of a linguist. If you marry someone that speaks a different language but you bring your kids up in America or the UK, the kid will be monolingual. If you marry ,say, a French person and you speak with him/her in French and live in a country that speaks a different language, then there's a good chance that the kid will grow up truly bilingual.

Many people will say Chinese, because there are more 1st lang. Chinese speakers than any other; but Chinese is limited to the Far East, just as Spanish is limited to S. America + Spain (OK - a few others!), so don't marry for language - marry for l-o-v-e.

Debes casarte con alguien que te quiera y que sea buena madre/padre. No entiendo por qué alguien lo haría por otra razon.

I you really feel like you have to marry someone with a specific linguistic background, marry a Spanish speaker. Spanish is the second most commonly spoken language in the US, and the US is actually the second largest Spanish speaking country.

Engish / Chinese could be quite advantageous. The Chinese is a huge growing market and should be a tremendous asset in the future. Besides, Chinese also have a strong work ethic and genetically a strong propensity for high IQ quotient.

To learn the language, consider dating a Chinese girl or studying in Taiwan.
