My ex walked all over me. His family always told me not to be a doormat. I kicked him out and he still tries to play head games with me - and make me do what he wants and i asked him why and he said "cause you like it"
What can I do not to ever be treated this way again?
I did everything and anything to make this guy happy and still left alone.

I have the same issues. We're so eager to please everyone around us, we forget about our own well-being! What I did was finally take a stand, kicked out my bf, got my life together, got some new friends and a new place. It really helps!
Independence is the greatest!

In order to stop being a doormat you have to know your worth. A doormat is something that is always stepped on. I know as a human being that is not the way to live life, being run over. As a woman and individual it is always to think for self then for others. This guy is doing what he is doing to you because he is a jerk. In addition, he does what he does to you becaus "you" allow him to. When you really come to the realization that you no longer want to be his doormat then you will know what to do becaus your heart will tell you what to do. Leave. Forget. You have to being strong, focused and sharp. Watch what you say and watch what you do.

none of what you did for him matters at this point.... don't let yourself be a doormat and then you wont have this problem, choose yourself over him, he is a loser and you need to know that you deserve better :) :) :)

your to nice, and allowing him to mistreat you once allowed him to think he can do it again. Ao do it. also him, thinking that you cant do better and also taking away your selfesteem, allowed him to do it. we learn from our mistakes..and move on to better things..
